From the Author
Mission critical networks aren't just for big business.
They are the very life-blood of all business in the 21st century.
They store our intellectual brain trust.
Process orders.
Provide service.
Allow us to communicate.
We all have mission critical networks.
Backups are not enough.
Downtime is expensive.
To stay competitive, organizations big and small must learn how to keep business critical systems running all the time.
This is easier said than done.
High availability is elusive.
Not because it's terribly expensive or overly technical.
It's mostly about process.
In-Production: Achieving True High Availability is our monthly newsletter for tech-savvy business managers.
Our goal is to teach the tips and tricks involved in making ordinary networks into high availability networks.
In this field, as in life, there are few absolutes.
It's the gray areas that fascinate me.
I hope this newsletter makes you think. If you enjoy it, please pass it along using the "send this to a friend" feature at the top of each emailed newsletter.
