Performance IP™ Routing
Performance IP routing from Internap dynamically routes your traffic across the best performing of six different carrier networks.
The chosen network will become automatically updated throughout the day based on the current state of each network (packet loss, latency, jitter, or other factors).
21st Century Telecommunications
Our data center is located at the Internap Fisher Plaza facility across from Seattle's world famous Space Needle.
The Fisher Plaza was built at the turn of the century as the most advanced telecommunications and media complex in the entire Pacific Northwest.
Seattle City Light supplies Internap with the highest quality AC power through redundant 900 KVA feeds.
Inline UPS systems provide immediate power backup.
In the event of extended power outage, the facility has four 1,500 KVA generators with a 2-week fuel supply and extended refuel contracts for N+3 redundancy.
In addition, Internap has biometric access controls and state-of-the-art environmental and fire suppression controls independent of the rest of the facility.
Constructed on glacial till with no seismic faults, the building is rated seismic Zone 3 "Essential Services", putting it in the same class as critical infrastructure like hospitals.
Robust Network Fabric
We feature a fully redundant Cisco network fabric with no single point of failure.

In addition, Internap provides us with two separate Internet drops. Should the primary drop fail, traffic is automatically routed across the secondary drop using Cisco’s Hot Standby Routing Protocol (HSRP).
